What is the yield of one plant ? -How to increase planting yield "How much cannabis can be produced by a plant? What is the output of a 600-watt HPS (High Pressure Sodium) or LED
Plant Growth Light?"
There are many factors that affect cannabis production, and each cultivation is different. No one can provide a fixed number, but we can give some reasonable numbers as a reference.
Indoor-average production and influencing factors
When you grow marijuana indoors, lighting is the most important thing. An experienced farmer can produce approximately 1 gram (1 gram = 0.035 ounces) of cannabis per watt. According to this, a 400-watt HPS lamp may produce about 400 grams (14 ounces) of dry usable cannabis. Similarly, a 1200 watt HPS lamp can produce
approximately 1200 grams (42 ounces) of cannabis.
Factors affecting yield:
Suitable equipment
Sufficient nutrient solution
Beneficial air quality
Sufficient growth space and plant spacing
Outdoor-the average yield of outdoor cannabis plants
The expected production is 500 grams (17.5 ounces) of cannabis. There must be enough plant spacing (at least two meters), and pay attention to water, nutrients and insect control.
It is best to germinate the seedlings indoors, where you can better control the humidity and temperature before moving them outdoors.
All in all, the goal is to produce 500 grams (17.5 ounces) from a 500-watt light. Divide by the plant spacing to estimate the yield per plant.
